The Site

Shift+Backspace was created in April of 2007 with the hopes of providing various technology news as well as various computer-related insights. The site quickly began focusing on Linux and the open-source community with occasional articles regarding other technology.

The Creator

My name is Cole and I am a 23-year-old student attending Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. I am in the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration and Honours Bachelor of Science (HBBA/HBSc) double degree program with graduation occurring in August 2008.

My interests, in no particular order, include:
